Heat transfer problems - Update on possible solutions

So following my disaster with heat transferring images onto calico, which should have worked without problem, I got one very clear image and the rest were faded.   So I decided today to check on the internet about the heat transfer paper being kept at specific temperature.  I cannot find anything about this on the Magic Touch website but on a similar product it does state something similar.  I decided to get confirmation from the Magic Touch paper as shown below in my facebook message to them.  I was hoping that by using Facebook I will get a quicker response but I can't see a facility to post directly onto their site so I had to message them.   My thinking was that a post saying something didn't work might get a quicker response than an email as Facebook is seen by many and my email isn't.

I also found other reasons for it not transferring including
My image is not transferring
Check the temperature of the press. Too much heat will bond the paper to the substrate, but not enough heat will cause the image to not release from the transfer paper.

Check the pressure of the press. Too much pressure may cause the garment and paper to stick together, but not enough pressure will cause the image to press unevenly. http://www.coastalbusiness.com/KnowledgeBase-heattransferinformation.aspx#myimageisnottransferring

Now I have in the past increased the temperature of the press to near 200 and got good results, but I was advised that I shouldn't have to do this and I shouldn't.   I had some poor results a few months back, but on speaking to Sue we put this down to the fabric I was transferring to which was a mixture of different ones and at that time, the calico one did work ok.   So I will see what Magic Touch say.

My images themselves are good quality, mostly taken with a DSLR camera and not enlarged.

All my samples are in my sketchbook and accompanying box of samples.
